If any Resgrid mobile app becomes unresponsive or visual starts to have issues it's recommended you force close (terminate) the app. This is different then clicking the home button to get out of the app, as the Resgrid mobile app is still running in the background. Below are the steps for the mobile platforms to force quit an app.

Android

  1. Tap the Recents button (Recents button;) to pull up a list of recently used apps.
  2. Scroll through the list of apps until you locate the one you wish to close.
  3. Swipe the app off the screen to close it.

Android Alt

  1. Press and hold the home button () to pull up a list active applications
  2. Scroll through the list of apps until you locate the one you wish to close.
  3. Swipe the app off the screen, usually to the list, to close it.

iOS 7 and newer

  1. Double-click the Home button.
  2. Swipe left or right until you locate the app you wish to close.
  3. Swipe the app up to close it.
    Note: If you close an app that has been configured to receive background notifications, it will no longer receive them until it has been reopened.

iOS 6 and older

  1. Double-click the Home button
  2. Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
  3. Tap and hold the app until it begins to shake. A small red circle with a white minus sign will appear at the top left corner of the app.
  4. Tap on the minus sign to close the app.

Windows 8 and RT

  1. Open the app you wish to close.
  2. Drag down from the top of the screen.
  3. Without lifting your finger, drag the app down past the bottom of the screen.
